Connie can currently be seen in 70 million homes as a host on ShopNBC. She covers all categories from jewelry and cosmetics to watches and electronics.
Starting her hosting career with the national cable network, Americafs Health Network at Universal Studios, she is familiar with a wide range of medical and fitness topics having covered break-through medical discoveries in Pediatrics, Sports Medicine, Ob-Gyn, Nutrition and General Family Medicine.
One of her favorite assignments was hosting the nationally syndicated, Investorfs TV News Magazine, where she interviewed top executives and entrepreneurs of Small Cap and Emerging Growth companies.
The Fox affiliate in Orlando (top 19 market) signed Connie to anchor their successful show, Talk It Up, Orlando, a fast paced show taking Ms. Kunkle to restaurants, shops, attractions, festivals, sporting eventsc. everything of interest to the Orlando resident to inform them of what was happening about town. Her ability to be quick witted and to think on her feet in virtually any situation coupled with her fearless mantra of gtry anything onceh all contributed to making the show a big success.
Connie Kunkle is arguably the ginfomercial queenh having charted multi-millions of dollars in television sales in the US and abroad. Just a few of her long list of successful infomercials include Ready Strip (3 versions), Sewing Genie, Cash Flow, Resolution Acne System, The Power Cooker, and several Igia Products.
Her first appearance on QVC found her breaking Todayfs Daily Valuerecords by selling completely out of inventory with in 16 minutescover 30, 000 units valued at $840,000. Thatfs about $52,500 per minute! Orders continued to pour in with 3,000 additional units sold on backorder.
Her other shopping show hosting experiences include Shop America Network, Test Market TV, PBS, The Wholesale Shopping Show and Auction TV.
She works comfortably with Teleprompter and IFB, and is skilled with an EarPrompter, yet, it is her ability to handle live, unscripted segments that set her apart . Her theatre background has trained her to memorize scripts gon the spoth.
Ms. Kunkle also has a thriving acting and singing career. Highlights are her Carnegie Hall debut singing with the New York Pops Orchestra and staring on Broadway in the hit, Les Miserables in the role of Fantine. She also starred as the Narrator opposite Donny Osmond in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Connie is also well known as an international concert performer starring in Pops concerts with top Symphony Orchestras around the world.
Originally from Indiana, Pennsylvania with Alabama roots, she is a magna cum laude graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Radio/Television.
